UNWTO（国連世界観光機関）による世界観光倫理憲章の署名企業に選ばれました

2023年10月26日、UNWTO(世界観光機関)による「世界観光倫理憲章　民間部門による誓約(Private Sector Commitment to the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics for Tourism)の署名企業として、今年5社が選考され、株式会社ライダスもそのうちの1企業として選ばれました。

世界観光倫理憲章とは、観光産業発展させるにあたり、世界の環境、文化遺産、社会に与える潜在的な悪影響を最小限にしながら、観光産業の発展を最大限に引き出すことにあります。
持続可能な観光開発への取り組みを懸命にされている企業がたくさんある中、弊社はまだその入り口に立ったばかりであります。しかし現場の取り組みを国連につまびらかに開示し、エビデンスを開示してきた結果がこの選考につながったと思っております。ただし、実際に不十分なところも多々あるのが現実です。
この署名は、今後も企業の使命として持続可能な観光開発を続けていくと言うコミットメントであります。よって弊社は今後も世界標準の査察を受けながら、必死になって、この持続可能な観光開発の取り組みを続けて行かなくてはなりません。

On 26 October 2023, the UNWTO (World Tourism Organisation) selected five companies this year as signatories to the Private Sector Commitment to the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics for Tourism, Lydas Inc. was one of the five companies selected.

The Global Code of Ethics for Tourism aims to maximise the development of the tourism industry while minimising potential negative impacts on the world’s environment, cultural heritage and society.
While many companies are working hard towards sustainable tourism development, we are just at the beginning of our journey. However, we believe that our efforts to disclose our initiatives on the ground and evidence to the UN have led to this selection. However, the reality is that there are many areas where we actually fall short.
This signature is a commitment that we will continue to develop sustainable tourism as part of our corporate mission. Therefore, we must continue to work hard and continue this commitment to sustainable tourism development, while undergoing inspections to a global standard.
